Objectives
The Association's primary objective is to represent South African Music Exporters in all aspects of the music industry
and to promote South African music trade abroad.

The Association's secondary objectives are as follows:
To create and make available a database of South African music exporters;
To act as a distributor of information related to South African music exports;
To promote mutual understanding and co-operation among members
and other stakeholders at all levels of the music industry.
To develop and promote professionalism and fair trade amongst members;
The Association's tertiary objective is to structure and formalize partnerships with related bodies nationally and internationally
